Call the Cat Sitter was borne out of my own frustrations with trying to plan trips out of town but failing to find reliable sitters for my cats and dogs who I love so dearly. Though boarding kennels abound by the dozens, their accommodations for cats seem an afterthought and my dogs are always confused and lost in that environment. I felt my animals deserved better, and better, of course, meant keeping them where they are most comfortable - at home.
In my quest to find just the right pet sitter for my furry kids during my honeymoon last year, I realized I was not alone in this dilemma and that perhaps I could help others to experience the comfort level and reassurance that finally came for my new husband and me when at long last we were able to find just the right sitter for our combined cherished four-legged family. We wanted a pet sitter who would do more than simply feed, let the dogs out, and clean litter boxes. We wanted someone who would spend time with them, assure their safety and comfort, love them as we do, and convey that love in our absence. And when we found that perfect sitter, it made all the difference in the world!
Now, though we love our pets more than words can say, we are able to take some time for ourselves while knowing that our cats and dogs are being cared for by someone who not only loves animals as we do but is also very dependable and who we can trust with both our "children" and our home. And that is what I now strive to do with each and every client. Anyone can fill a food bowl, let a dog out, and scoop a litter box but it takes a heart that truly loves animals to be Mom and Dad to your pets when Mom and Dad can't be. It is the most important part of what I do and it makes all the difference - to your pets and to you.
